🥊 The short version

Why London is British boxing’s home

No other city in the country hosts boxing at every scale. On one side of the calendar there are stadium nights at Wembley and Tottenham, where a heavyweight headliner can fill a football ground. On the other there are regular arena shows, televised title fights and small-hall cards where the next generation learns its trade. Most weeks of the year there is something on somewhere in the capital, and the biggest British fights are more likely to land here than anywhere else.

That spread is exactly why this page exists. Rather than chase individual fight pages that go stale the morning after, the events feed at the top of this page updates itself with whatever is next in London. Everything below is the part that doesn’t change: where fights happen, what a fight night is actually like, and how tickets work.

🏟️ Venues

Where boxing happens in London

London’s fight venues fall into three tiers. Which one a show lands in tells you a lot about the atmosphere, the view and how hard tickets will be to get.

Stadium nights

The very biggest fights move outdoors into football grounds. Wembley Stadium has staged the largest boxing crowds in post-war British history, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has joined it as a venue for stadium-scale heavyweight nights. These are rare, heavily promoted events: the ring sits on the pitch, most of the crowd is a long way from it, and the big screens do a lot of the work. You go for the occasion as much as the view.

Arena shows

The O2 Arena in Greenwich is the busiest big-fight arena in the capital, hosting major promoters and world title nights through the year. OVO Arena Wembley is the regular home of televised fight nights a notch below that, and the Copper Box Arena on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a compact, loud room where almost every seat feels close to the action.

Historic and intimate rooms

The Royal Albert Hall has a long boxing history and still hosts occasional fight nights — the tiered circular hall makes it one of the most atmospheric places in the world to watch a fight. Inside The O2 complex, indigo at The O2 is a much smaller space used for more intimate cards. Shows at rooms like these are fewer, smaller and often sell through fans who follow a particular fighter or promoter.

🎫 Tickets

How boxing tickets work

There is no single governing body selling boxing tickets. Each show is put on by a promoter, and tickets go on sale through that promoter and the venue’s official ticketing partner. Big shows usually run pre-sales first — promoter mailing lists, broadcaster subscribers, venue or card members — before a general sale.

For high-demand fights, the general sale can go quickly, and from then on the resale market is how most people get in. Resale marketplaces like StubHub list seats from other fans; the seller sets the price, so it can sit above or below face value and it changes as fight night gets closer.

What drives the price

💡 Before buying on any resale site, check the listing for section and row, delivery method and the platform’s guarantee. If a fight is postponed or a headliner pulls out, the terms of that guarantee decide what happens next.

❓ FAQ

Where are the biggest boxing events held in London?
The largest fights are held at Wembley Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The O2 Arena is the main indoor venue for big fights, with OVO Arena Wembley, the Copper Box Arena and the Royal Albert Hall hosting regular and occasional shows.
How do I get tickets for a big fight in London?
Tickets go on sale through the promoter and the venue’s official ticketing partner, usually with pre-sales before a general sale. Once a fight sells out, resale marketplaces such as StubHub are the main way in.
What time does the main event start?
Later than the advertised start time. Doors and the undercard come first, and headline ring walks are usually late in the evening. Exact times move with how quickly the earlier fights finish.
Are resale boxing tickets more expensive than face value?
Not always. Resale prices are set by sellers and move with demand, so they can sit above or below face value. Compare the total price including fees before you buy.
What can I bring to a boxing event in London?
Bag rules are set by each venue and are strict at the big ones. Check the O2 bag policy or the Wembley bag policy before you travel.
