UEFA EURO 2028 runs from Friday 9 June to Sunday 9 July 2028, co-hosted across England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland. Twenty-four teams play 51 matches at nine stadiums in eight host cities, with the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff staging the opening match and Wembley hosting both semi-finals and the final. London is the only city with two venues, Wembley Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Host nations and format
EURO 2028 is the first men’s European Championship staged across four home nations plus the Republic of Ireland at once. The tournament keeps the format used since EURO 2024: 24 teams drawn into six groups of four, with the top two in each group plus the four best third-placed sides advancing to a round of 16, then quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final.

London’s two venues
London stages more EURO 2028 fixtures than any other city. Wembley Stadium hosts group matches plus both semi-finals and the final; Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosts group and early knockout fixtures. Tickets
Standard EURO 2028 tickets are not yet on sale. UEFA says prices and full sales details will be announced in autumn 2027, with sales opening after the final tournament draw, expected in December 2027. Fan zones and public screenings
