EURO 2028 semi-finals and final at Wembley

Wembley Stadium will host both EURO 2028 semi-finals on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 July, followed by the final on Sunday 9 July 2028. The final kicks off at 17:00 local time. Semi-final kick-off times and all participating teams will be confirmed later.

Final-week schedule

The rest day between the second semi-final and final gives finalists three or four full recovery days, depending on which semi-final they play.

EURO 2028 final tickets

Final tickets are not on standard sale. UEFA will announce prices and full ticketing details in autumn 2027, with the first general-public sale beginning after the final draw, expected in December 2027.

There will be four main official routes:

1. UEFA public ballot: apply for the final through UEFA’s general sale.
2. Finalist allocations: qualifying associations are expected to distribute their supporter allocations using their own eligibility rules.
3. Official resale: returned tickets can be listed at face value on UEFA’s platform.
4. Official hospitality: premium packages through the appointed EURO 2028 provider.

The final will be the hardest ticket in the tournament. Joining a national association’s supporter scheme does not guarantee access: finalists will be known only days before the match, and loyalty criteria may apply.

What UEFA has confirmed about pricing

• No dynamic pricing.
• More than 40% of tournament tickets in the most affordable categories.
• More than 80% of tickets available to team supporters and the general public.
• Official resale at face value only, with no fee to the seller.
• Disabled supporters pay the lowest-category price and may request a complimentary companion ticket.

UEFA has not said what the final’s individual categories will cost. Group-stage affordability commitments should not be used to estimate the price of a Wembley final seat.

Wembley Stadium for EURO 2028

Wembley’s normal capacity is 90,000, while UEFA lists an 88,000 tournament capacity for EURO 2028. The difference reflects the event configuration and operational allocations.

The stadium has three main seating tiers:

• Lower tier: closest to the pitch and usually strongest for atmosphere.
• Middle tier: an elevated, balanced view; much of the everyday inventory is premium.
• Upper tier: a complete tactical view, with greater distance from the pitch.

UEFA’s final-specific categories and supporter ends have not been published. The two finalists’ allocations may occupy opposite ends, while neutral sale, hospitality, media and tournament operations use other sections.

Getting to Wembley

Use the route recommended on your ticket or in pre-match travel advice. Crowd plans may direct different ticket holders towards different stations. Road closures and resident-only parking controls make driving a poor option.

After the final

A 17:00 kick-off means normal time should finish before 19:00, but extra time, penalties, the trophy presentation and celebrations can extend the event well beyond 20:00. Allow at least 60–90 minutes to leave the stadium area and board public transport.

Where to stay for final week

Choose accommodation based on your wider London plans, not only straight-line distance from Wembley.

• Wembley: easiest stadium access, but the immediate area will be exceptionally busy.
• Marylebone or Baker Street: convenient for Chiltern or Metropolitan line routes.
• Central Jubilee line areas: direct Tube access to Wembley Park.
• Paddington: useful for west London and Elizabeth line connections, with a change for Wembley.

Book a refundable room before the finalists are known if you intend to attend regardless of teams. Prices around both semi-final nights and the final weekend are likely to rise sharply.

Final-week fan zones and screenings

London’s official EURO 2028 fan-zone locations have not been announced. The final should generate a large mix of official public events, ticketed screenings and pub bookings, but no site should be described as confirmed until the Mayor of London, host city or UEFA publishes it.

For a screening, check:

• whether entry is guaranteed or first come, first served;
• seated versus standing format;
• age limits and last-entry time;
• screen sightlines and whether commentary is audible;
• the route home after a possible penalty shoot-out.

Final day checklist

1. Open the official mobile ticket before leaving your accommodation.
2. Check the assigned entrance and current bag rules.
3. Leave central London early; do not treat Wembley as a normal Tube journey.
4. Use the station and approach route advised for your ticket.
5. Carry a charged phone and payment card.
6. Do not meet ticket sellers around the stadium.
7. Plan the journey home around extra time and the presentation.
