How to get Barnet tickets

Barnet tickets are usually a friendlier entry point into London football than Premier League fixtures, but the best route still depends on the opponent, league position and whether the match is all-ticket.
  • Official club sales — start with Barnet’s ticketing channels for home match availability.
  • Matchday sales — may be possible for lower-demand fixtures, but check in advance rather than relying on the gate.
  • Family and concession tickets — The Hive is a good option for a lower-pressure London football day if the right ticket bands are available.
  • Resale marketplaces — use caution and check the stand, delivery method and home/away status before buying.

Club history

Barnet were founded in 1888 in Chipping Barnet and spent more than a century associated with Underhill before moving to The Hive in 2013. The Bees returned to the Football League after winning the 2024-25 National League with a club-record 102 points, making The Hive one of London’s most interesting lower-league grounds again.

Getting to The Hive Stadium

Canons Park on the Jubilee line is the closest station, around 400 metres from the stadium. Queensbury is slightly farther away, and Edgware on the Northern line is roughly a 25-minute walk. Buses 79, 186, 288 and 340 also serve the area.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy Barnet tickets on matchday?
Sometimes, but do not assume. The Hive is compact, so check Barnet’s official sales information before travelling, especially for weekend games and promotion-relevant fixtures.
Where should I sit at The Hive?
Choose the West Stand for the best overall view and facilities. The East Stand is smaller but handy for a simple matchday. Away fans are normally in the North Stand. See the full The Hive Stadium Seating Guide.
Is Barnet a good London football day for families?
Yes, especially compared with larger London grounds. Pick a seated side stand, arrive by Canons Park, and check family/concession ticket rules before buying.
