Formula E London Transport Guide: Getting to the ExCeL Circuit
The London E-Prix runs through and around the ExCeL exhibition centre in the Royal Docks — the only circuit in world motorsport that goes both indoors and outdoors. It’s well served by the DLR and has effectively no spectator parking. This guide ranks every way in and the fastest route home.

Buffer is race start minus 45 minutes. ExCeL is a large site and much of the circuit is indoors, so allow time to navigate the exhibition halls to your viewing area.

Getting home after
Step-free & accessible
Custom House station is fully step-free on both the DLR and Elizabeth line, and is about a five-minute walk into the ExCeL complex.
ExCeL itself is a large, modern, fully accessible venue with step-free access throughout the exhibition halls used for the circuit.
Accessible viewing areas and facilities are available and should be arranged in advance through the event organiser.
