London’s Formula E race moves to Brands Hatch in Kent for 2027, with a double-header on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May 2027. It is the first time Brands Hatch has hosted Formula E.

The race moves from ExCeL London (2021 to 2026) to Brands Hatch in Kent for 2027. ExCeL hosted its final London E-Prix on 15 and 16 August 2026. The official 2026/27 calendar lists the round as London at Brands Hatch.

London E-Prix 2027: race weekend
Dates: Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May 2027, a double-header with a race on each day.
Venue: Brands Hatch, Kent. This is the first Formula E race at the circuit.

Getting to Brands Hatch from London
Brands Hatch is a permanent racing circuit near West Kingsdown in Kent, south-east of London, close to the A20 and junction 3 of the M25. Unlike ExCeL it is not served by the Tube, DLR or Elizabeth line, so plan your journey in advance. Official travel and parking information for the 2027 E-Prix has not been published yet; we will add it here when it is.
What to expect
Brands Hatch is an outdoor circuit, so race weekend will feel different from the indoor and dockside ExCeL event. Fan zone and entertainment details for 2027 have not been announced yet.
The ExCeL years, 2021 to 2026
From 2021 to 2026 the London E-Prix ran at ExCeL London on a hybrid circuit that started inside the exhibition halls and ran outside around the docks. Formula E’s new Gen4 car can’t race on that layout, which is why London’s round moves to Brands Hatch. Our ExCeL seating and transport guides cover those years.
