Whitton Road, Richmond and Twickenham Green pubs are standing room only by lunchtime. Book a table if you are a group.

Head to the stadium
Most fans arrive two to three hours before kick-off. The fan village and bars around the ground are part of the day.

Bag checks and 82,000 people take time. Aim to be through the turnstiles at least an hour before kick-off.

Expect a long walk back to the station and queues for an hour or more. Most fans stay for a post-match pint instead.
Getting to Twickenham
- Train: Twickenham station from London Waterloo, then a signposted walk of around 15 minutes
- Tube: District line to Richmond, then train, shuttle bus or a 30-minute walk
- Post-match: Twickenham station runs a queuing system. Richmond is the calmer alternative
- Driving: Not recommended. Road closures and resident parking zones surround the ground
