Eurostar runs roughly 16 services a day from London St Pancras, with the quickest scheduled around 2h 16m. Gare du Nord puts you straight onto the Metro network.
Pick up Line 4 inside Gare du Nord and ride two stops south. It is the simplest interchange onto the line you actually need.
Line 9 runs the whole way across the city to the 16th arrondissement. Stay on to Porte de Saint-Cloud — it is a long ride but requires no further changes.
The ground is about five minutes on foot from the station exit. Exelmans on Line 9 and Porte d’Auteuil on Line 10 are alternative approaches if the main exit is congested.
Opened in its current form in 1972 on a site that has staged football since 1897, the Parc des Princes holds 47,929 and sits tight to the pitch on all four sides. It has been Paris Saint-Germain’s home since the club’s early years and is one of the more compact grounds of its capacity in Europe, which keeps noise in rather than letting it drift.
Porte de Saint-Cloud is busy on the whistle. Walking one stop up Line 9 to Exelmans usually clears faster than queuing at the nearest entrance.
The final London service leaves Gare du Nord in the evening, so an evening kick-off in Paris is not reliably a same-day return. Check the timetable against kick-off before deciding.
The 16th is residential rather than a stadium-district of bars. Most travelling fans eat centrally before heading out to the ground.
