London St Pancras to Brussels Midi takes around two hours. This is the only leg Eurostar itself operates on this route.
Belgian domestic services run frequently from Brussels Midi to Brugge and take about an hour, putting the total London-to-Bruges journey at roughly 3h 20m.
The ground is in Sint-Andries, west of the centre. Bus 5 or 15 from outside Brugge station towards Jan Breydel drops at Sint-Andries Kerk, a short walk away; line 30 also serves the ground in about 18 minutes.
It is roughly 3.5 to 4km from the station — about 40 to 50 minutes’ walk. Blue-bike hire is available at Brugge station and is a genuinely quick alternative on a dry day.
Built in 1975 as the Olympiastadion and renamed in 1998 after the medieval Bruges figure Jan Breydel, the ground holds 29,062 and is unusual in being shared by two rival clubs — Club Brugge and Cercle Brugge both play here. It sits in the Sint-Andries suburb rather than in the historic centre.
Buses back towards the station fill quickly. Walking part of the way into the centre is realistic given the distance, and Bruges is compact once you are in.

This is the shortest of the three routes and the most realistic same-day return, subject to kick-off time and the connection back through Brussels.

Is the Eurostar ‘Any Belgian Station’ ticket still available?
No. It was withdrawn on 31 March 2025 at SNCB’s request. You now need a separate ticket for the onward Brussels-to-Bruges leg, though it can still be booked in one transaction on Eurostar’s site.
