Never Miss a London Ticket Drop
The first NFL game played in London was staged on 28 October 2007, when the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins 13–10 at Wembley Stadium in front of more than 81,000 fans. The first 40,000 tickets sold out within 90 minutes, launching what became the NFL International Series.
A single London game was played each year through 2012. The series then expanded, adding multiple games per season and, from 2019, a second London venue in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. When the NFL’s exclusive Wembley agreement lapsed, the 2021 games were played entirely at Tottenham — the first year since 2007 without a Wembley fixture.
The Jacksonville Jaguars became, in 2012, the first and only NFL franchise to commit to multiple years of home games in London, and have returned in almost every season since their 2013 debut. In 2023 they made history as the first team to play back-to-back home games in London in the same season, at Wembley and Tottenham.
London’s NFL games are split between two stadiums: Wembley Stadium, the series’ original and most frequent host, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, added to the rotation from 2019 and purpose-built with an NFL-regulation pitch beneath its retractable football surface.
