Craven Cottage

Home of Fulham Football Club

🏟️ Brief Description

Craven Cottage is one of English football’s most historic and character-filled stadiums, nestled on the banks of the River Thames in Fulham, West London. With a capacity of just over 25,000, it is the home of Fulham FC and renowned for its traditional architecture, intimate sightlines, and unique riverside setting.
Unlike many modern arenas, Craven Cottage offers a classic matchday experience, combining Premier League football with one of the most picturesque locations in the sport.

📝 History of Craven Cottage

Craven Cottage has been Fulham FC’s home since 1896, making it one of the longest continuously used stadiums in English football. The ground takes its name from a former royal hunting lodge (“the cottage”) that once stood on the site.

Over more than a century, the stadium has witnessed promotion battles, top-flight survival dramas, and European nights, including Fulham’s memorable run to the Europa League Final in 2010.
While the ground has undergone modernisation — most notably the redevelopment of the Riverside Stand — great care has been taken to preserve its historic charm, including the iconic Johnny Haynes Stand, a Grade II listed structure and a landmark of football architecture.

Craven Cottage remains a rare blend of tradition and modern comfort in the Premier League.
