Opening night — Harlequins v Bath at The Stoop, Fri 25 September, 19:45.
Big Game 17 — Quins v Bristol Bears at Allianz Stadium, Sat 20 December (Women 15:05, Men 18:00).
Two dates need different planning from everything else below. The season opener is a Friday 19:45 kick-off, which lands the outbound journey squarely in commuter peak out of Waterloo and the return after the last of the evening services thin out. And on 20 December the fixture is not at The Stoop at all — Big Game 17 is next door at Allianz Stadium.

Why the Big Game distinction matters more than it sounds: the two grounds share Twickenham station, but they do not share a crowd size. The Stoop holds around 14,800; Allianz Stadium holds over five times that. The 15-minute walk and the steady, stewarded queues described below are a Stoop-sized experience — on Big Game day the station operates under national-stadium crowd management, and the High Street bus alternative becomes far more valuable than it is on a normal matchday. Getting home after
Twickenham station (15 min)
Retrace the walk back to Twickenham for South Western Railway services to Waterloo and Clapham Junction. Queues are stewarded and move steadily on a Stoop-sized crowd.
Spread to the High Street buses
If the station looks busy, walking into Twickenham High Street opens up the R68, R70, 33, 110, 290 and 490 and gets you moving sooner.
Driving out
Parking is limited and the surrounding roads fill quickly — worse still if the neighbouring stadium has an event on the same day, so check before you set off.
Step-free & accessible
Twickenham station has step-free access from all platforms to street level following its recent upgrade, and is the recommended accessible railhead at about a 15-minute walk. Richmond is also fully step-free if you are connecting from the District line.
Harlequins provide complimentary parking for Blue Badge holders in reserved bays, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
