Unlike the NFL’s two outer-London stadiums, both Hundred grounds sit close to the centre of the city and are genuinely easy to reach. The Kia Oval is one of the most convenient major venues in London โ six minutes from Vauxhall. Lord’s is a short walk from three Tube stations in St John’s Wood. Public transport is the right call for both โ neither offers match-day parking.

Post-match exit strategy

Most fans pour straight into Oval station and the single Northern Line backs up quickly. Instead, walk the extra couple of minutes to Vauxhall for the Victoria Line and National Rail โ far more capacity and a quicker journey for most destinations.

St John’s Wood is the obvious choice and therefore the busiest. Walk to Baker Street (five lines) or Warwick Avenue (quiet Bakerloo) instead and you’ll be moving while others queue. Or simply enjoy the ground for 20 minutes and let the crowd clear.

The single biggest time-saver at both grounds: arrive via the closest station, leave via a different one. Arrive at Oval, leave via Vauxhall. Arrive at St John’s Wood, leave via Baker Street or Warwick Avenue. It avoids the worst of the post-match bottleneck for the cost of a few extra minutes’ walking.
Driving & Parking

Not recommended for either venue. There’s no match-day parking at or near the Kia Oval, and Lord’s sits in a tightly controlled residential zone with very limited options. Both are inside or close to the Congestion Charge zone.
